Finding the right size is important, especially when buying jewellery as a gift. Use this guide to help you find the perfect fit. If you're unsure, please don't hesitate to contact us at meaningfulcharm@yahoo.co.uk and we'll be happy to help.
How to Measure
The easiest way to measure is to wrap a piece of cotton or cord around the area you want to measure, mark where it meets, then lay it flat against a ruler.
- Do not pull the cotton tight — you want a comfortable fit, not a snug one
- Measure twice to make sure you get an accurate reading
Rings
Wrap a piece of cotton around the finger, thumb or toe you plan to wear the ring on. Measure the cotton in millimetres — this is your size. All of our rings are measured in millimetres.
Buying as a gift? A common UK female ring size is approximately 60mm (size P). If in doubt, opt for a slightly smaller size as the rings are elasticated and stretchy so will stretch to be worn on any finger.
Bracelets
Wrap a flexible measuring tape or piece of cotton around your wrist. Measure in inches. All of our bracelet sizes are in inches and start at 6" up to 8".
Buying as a gift? The most common size for a standard adult female wrist is 7".
Anklets
Measure around your ankle in the same way as a bracelet. Anklet sizes are measured in inches and start at 7" unto 12".
Buying as a gift? The most common size for a standard adult female ankle is 9".
Necklaces
All of our necklace lengths are measured in inches. Please refer to the sizing guide image below for a visual guide to how each length sits.
Common necklace lengths as a guide:
- 14" — sits snug around the neck
- 16" — sits at the collarbone
- 18" — sits just below the collarbone (most popular)
- 20" — sits on the chest
