If a supplier's standards slip or their source changes, we look elsewhere. And we can tell the difference. Take rose quartz: a beautiful, opaque blush pink is worlds apart from a pale, almost transparent stone, and we will only ever use the former.
When crystals arrive with us, every single one is inspected by hand. Because crystals are natural, no two are identical. They may vary slightly in size, shape, or tone, and that's part of their beauty. But cracked, split, or damaged crystals never make it into our jewellery.
We have a deep dislike of waste, and that extends to every crystal that comes through our door. Rather than discarding stones that don't meet our jewellery standard, we repurpose them as decorative pieces in our home.
