Known as the stone of endurance, Red Jasper is one of the oldest and most grounding stones in crystal tradition. It is a stone of quiet determination — not the flash of inspiration, but the deep, reliable strength that sustains effort over time.
Red Jasper is strongly associated with courage and resilience. Physically, Red Jasper is an opaque variety of microcrystalline quartz with a Mohs hardness of 6.5 to 7. Its rich red colour comes from iron oxide inclusions throughout its structure. It is water safe and can be cleansed briefly under running water.
